Fees

There is a statutory fee for a Church of England wedding which is set nationally.  This fee covers all the essentials such as publishing the banns in this church, conducting the wedding and the legal formalities of registration. Extra options such as the organist, choir and bell ringers have their own fees.  Please note that fees are revised annually on 1 January.

Eligibility

Thanks to a change in the law, you can marry in your chosen Church of England church if you can show a connection with the parish.  These conditions are set by the Church of England and can be found here.

If you can show the required connection with any church in this Benefice you may be able to marry in any of our four churches not just your “connected” one.

If you are intending to be married in a church within this benefice you should initially contact Rev Eddie by telephone (01604 891166), by email or in person.  You will receive a form to fill in either on paper or by email.

General information about getting married in the Church of England can be found here.
